Hello! We are the proud new owners of Taste of Boston in South Tampa. We’ve been happily married for 25 years and raised two wonderful children who are now grown & flown, which led us to rethink exactly what we wanted to do with this next chapter of our lives. We transplanted here in 2020 from St. Louis, MO and although we may be new to South Tampa, the Taste of Boston has been around for well over a decade.

Like many people, we take pleasure in trying new spots to eat. Through our travels, one thing we discovered over the years was that our favorite dining places were always the authentic mom & pop local spots. That was the exact feeling we got when we discovered the Taste of Boston in beautiful Ballast Point Park. This hidden gem happened to sit right on the waterfront at the beginning of a gorgeous 600-foot pier. It’s no wonder it has been a favorite for years. We were sold!

Since taking over in August of 2022, we have been delighted with all the endless stories of prior visits from many loyal and regular customers. While we have changed the look a bit, the food is still the same great New England favorites everyone has grown to love over the years, along with a new addition or two! We are not into trendy, latest and greatest dining fads. We are all about welcoming friends and family to our unique location while offering our high quality, great tasting seafood with outstanding and friendly customer service.
